I tell stories with light. You might even call me a light chaser! Whether it’s the radiance of a new bride, the angelic glow of a child’s face, or the sparkle of wisdom in our older generation, I’m always searching for the light. I believe everyone has a light that has meaning and value. And it’s my joy to witness and record it for all time.
I’m Tamma, a life-long photographer, specializing in wedding and engagement photography and portraiture. It may sound cliche, but I really am a little bit country and a little bit rock ’n’ roll (hello, cowboy boots and leather jackets!). I love chocolate labs and chocolate covered anything. I consider shopping an adventure. Most of my problems can be solved by Jesus or coffee. When I’m not photographing or scouting a shoot location, you can find me walking the beaches of Edisto Island with my dog or hanging out with my husband and our daughter.
Tamma came in one day prior to our son’s wedding and spent time at the venue looking over not only the ceremony setting but also all the angles and views that surrounded it. She truly has a creative eye and knows how to capture each photo at the perfect moment.
"Tamma is such a joy to work with. The photographs we received took our breath away."
We knew that our wedding day was going to be one of the most memorable days of our lives, and we wanted to be sure that we captured every moment . Having Tamma as our photographer, ensured that we would be able to look back fondly on the day we became Mr. and Mrs. James.
"Tamma did an amazing job making our special day stress free."
We, as a couple, had never had our pictures taken professionally so I was not certain how it all would go. We adore the photos that she captured and love looking back at the joy she captured from such a gloomy day. Thank you, Tamma for capturing our love!
"We were nervous but Tamma quickly put us at ease, even in the rain."
I can't say enough to highlight how amazing Tamma is. I wanted to capture the moments of proposing to my fiancé while we were on a trip to Edisto Island to visit family. We couldn't be more grateful to have the memories able to be shared with friends and family thanks to what she captured.
"Tamma caught every moment, and we couldn't be more grateful. "
